Lafayette Eye Associates, P.C. Offers Pre- and Post-Lasik Treatment Care
LASIK eye surgery is a surgical procedure that is performed to enhance a person’s visual acuity and decrease their dependency on glasses or contact lenses. LASIK stands for Laser Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis. This surgery is done with a laser that reshapes the cornea in order to provide better vision for people with myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism.
Lafayette Eye Associates currently co-manages with many providers of the LASIK procedure including InSight Lasik, a laser center located in Boulder. Comanagement simply means we work together with the LASIK provider to give you the most complete care for your LASIK or PRK surgery. You get two offices working on your behalf for the price of one, meaning you get the most complete care for your money. Here in our office you will receive all of your pre- and post- operative care. The surgery itself is performed at InSight Lasik, and we handle all of your scheduling for you so that you don’t have to. The appointments you would have at our office include a consultation, a dilated LASIK measurement exam (pre-op), a 1-day post-op, a 10 day post-op, and a 2 month post-op.
